Pattern 1045 Spode bone china Bute shape Coffee Can produced c1806. This design is another Pluck & Dust printed product known as P522 'Vine Border'. It is again printed in iron-red & finished with gilt edges.

The usual Spode gilding down the kinked handle

Unfortunately the red enamel has been scratched away a bit on this side, iron-red was a more vulnerable & less robust enamel colour because it had to be fired at a much lower temperature than others & so the colour didn't sink into the glaze as much & thus making it more prone to damage.

Some wear to the gilding around the top rim

A few specks of kiln dust & cobalt enamel which still appeared on Spode bone china porcelain c1806.

Another unmarked piece. Notice how the person who applied the transfer tissue went straight over the inside of the handle. This appears to be common as I have seen other Spode printed items decorated in this way.
A Spode Teapot in this same pattern can be seen on the Spode Society webpage here: https://www.spode-society.co.uk/wares-history3.html
I believe this example may be Pattern 1048 which was produced in 'French Brown & gold edge' (dark ox blood red) rather than my Spode pattern 1045 coffee can which is described as 'Red & gold edge'.
