Pattern 1926 Spode bone china Bute shape Coffee Can hand-painted in polychrome enamel with landscape views and finished with gilt 'French Edge' & band. This design was introduced at Spode c1812-1813.

You can see a stray spot of yellow enamel sitting where it shouldn't be.

The gilding looks lovely on this Spode Coffee Can

Some kiln dust specks which the decorator has tried to incorporate into the design area

Clean inside

Here the Spode pattern number '1926' is written in iron-red enamel but it appears in a different position to the usual format. Also the number '1' could be read incorrectly as a '7'.
A Spode New Oval shape Creamer in pattern 1926 can be seen at Tea Antiques here: http://www.teaantiques.com/teaclipper/teaclipper200609.htm
You will notice that this pattern 1926 creamer has the rare 'Swag Embossed' moulding seen on pattern 1923 (illustrated).
