Pattern 2329 Spode bone china Dessert Plate measuring 8.5 inches in diameter & in a shape known as 'Double Indented' which had been introduced c1809.  This is a beautiful design with different hand-painted floral centres plus three smaller sprays around the outer rim together with 'Flower Embossed' moulding & gilding.  Spode introduced this design c1815.
A Dessert Service in this pattern would have looked so lovely, it would have been a shame to cover the plate with pudding!
A photograph to show the plate's profile.
It is marked on its base with 'Spode' & its pattern number '2329' in red enamel; notice that the word Spode is almost in script form.
