Pattern 2417 Spode bone china Dessert Plate of Double Indented shape & measuring 8.5 inches in diameter. The centre contains hand-painted floral specimens and the lavender blue border is moulded with 'Flower Embossed' pattern together with painted gilt floral sprays. This pattern was introduced by Josiah Spode II c1816.
It is marked to its base with 'SPODE' and its pattern number '2417' in red enamel.
