Pattern 362 Spode bone china Bute shape Tea Cup produced by Josiah Spode II c1802. This is a very simple design in charcoal enamel which incorporates a sketched floral posy on the outside of the cup and a simplistic internal border design just below the top rim. The top rim & handle were also gilded but sadly this has worn away mostly.
Spode's signature gilding has almost worn away on this little cup
There are bits of kiln dust on its handle but obviously someone loved to use this cup very much.
