Pattern 441 Spode Bone China bute shape Coffee Can introduced by Josiah Spode II c1802. It is hand-painted with a band of apricot coloured enamel and several rich gilding patterns, one of which, rather appropriately, looks like coffee beans.
The kinked handle carries the usual Spode gilt design. What a lovely little bit of 'bling' this is.
This coffee can is clean inside and in very good condition
No pattern number or decorator's mark on its base which is as expected
