Pattern 506 Spode bone china Bute shape Coffee Can produced by Josiah Spode II c1803.  It is hand-decorated with lavish gilding on & around a band of cobalt blue enamel to its top outside rim.  This 'coffee bean' gilding pattern can also been seen on pattern 441.
You can see a bit of cobalt blue enamel has been smudged on the can handle, this was inevitable as decorators couldn't just nip to a washroom to clean their hands with hot water & soap!
Some loss of gilt to the top rim but not looking bad considering its age!
Again no marks to its base which is usual for this period
Pattern 506 Spode New Oval shape bone china Creamer c1805 (the pattern dates to c1803 but the shape was introduced c1805).  A creamer would always be included in a Tea Service.  This Spode creamer has a very interesting mark on its base, please see below for more information.
Gilders of the period were creatively devising all manner of decoration
Some wear to the gilding on its lip
The gilding pattern down this Creamer's handle is much longer and more elegant than the one on my earlier pattern 341 creamer.  Notice the accidental gilt dot.
Specks of dirt in the bone china are common during the early years of production
Here is an interesting mark, an impressed 'S', this is very rare
I like to herd my creamers together; here are Spode's patterns 714, 517 & 506
