Pattern 866 Spode bone china Bute shape Coffee Can decorated with another platinum lustre design together with gilt work. This pattern was introduced by Josiah Spode II c1805.

The band of lustre has two lines of black enamel either side of it.

Almost clear inside & not too much wear to the gilt top rim considering it is over 200 years old. Well done to all previous owners, you have taken good care of this.

There is no pattern number or decorator's marks on its base but there is an old collector's label. The Andrews were very keen Spode ceramic collectors for over 30 years.
