A Spode bone china Bute shape Coffee Can decorated in a very similar manner to Unknown B pattern but with the addition of gilt leafy sprigs.
The usual Spode gilding pattern down the kinked handle with the addition of a large speck of kiln dust at the base.
This Spode Coffee Can has many more faults in the ceramic body than the Unknown B one & I would suggest that it was made by Spode at an earlier date.
More specks & spots inside, some of which are very large & unsightly. This looks like very early bone china production c1800 or even before.
